Founded by Tatiana and Brittney—mothers, creators, and visionaries—the brand began with a personal purpose: creating custom pieces for their daughters, Amelia and Arya, and their all-star cheer gym, Appalachian Athletics.
Tatiana, a mom of two, and Brittney, a mom of three, shared a passion for design and a desire to create something that felt different—pieces that were not only meaningful, but elevated. What started within their own cheer community quickly gained attention, recognized for its distinct aesthetic, quality, and attention to detail.
As demand grew, so did the vision.
The Royal Velvet Co. expanded beyond the mat—evolving into a brand that designs for a wide range of moments and milestones. From collegiate apparel and lifestyle pieces to weddings, events, and custom creations, the brand now exists to bring a refined, luxury-inspired touch to every occasion.
